My name is Mrs Rebeccah Kagana, wife of Mr Prasad Kagana. For the past seven years, I have been suffering from an autoimmune disease, specifically SLE (Systemic Lupus Erythematosus) and myositis, as well as thyroid issues. Despite taking various medications, I developed additional minor illnesses as side effects. In an attempt to improve my health, I stopped using conventional medicine and began naturopathic treatments. Although this helped with some minor symptoms, my thyroid levels and SLE worsened. My local doctor recommended further treatment at CMC Hospital in Vellore, but we struggled to secure an appointment. During this time, a haematologist advised us, and I soon developed a tumour between my neck and right shoulder. Initially, thought to be caused by high doses of antibiotics, but later, we found it was due to elevated thyroid levels. Thankfully, the tumour was surgically removed. Throughout this painful journey, I drew strength and support from God, especially from Isaiah 43:1-6. I am deeply grateful to SFCAN Ministries for their compassionate support and the Medical Help of Rs. 1,00,000. This help has been a sign of God’s care for us. My husband and I thank SFCAN for standing by us through this challenging time.
